Bridesmaids from Hell
So what I'm thinking is, Sunny and I could hit Kimmie over the head with a blunt object, lock her in the closet, and get Killian as my maid of honor. If push came to shove, I mean. They look a lot alike, after all. Outside of the Roods, I think a lot of people would be fooled; plus, they probably wear the same dress size.
Okay, that was kidding. But seriously, what happened was, I don't have a lot of preference as to the color and style of the bridesmaid dresses, as long as they match, and the flower girls' dresses complement them. So. I made the fatal error of asking my sister Kimmie, my maid of honor, what color she might like to wear? Her answer:
"BLACK!"
"Oh no, hell no, this is not a funeral! It's my wedding! No. No black."
"You said any color"
"Any color but black!"
"You didn't say that before"
"I'm saying it now"
"Black"
"NO"
"BLACK!"
"NO!"
So that goes on for a while, and finally she relents and comes up with a new suggestion.
"RED!"
"You'll look like the wedding harlot!"
"Red AND black"
"Are you insane?"
"It would look awesome!"
"It would look like a UGA advertisement!"
"So?"
"NO"
"Who's wearing this dress anyway?"
"Who's WEDDING is this, anyway?"
"RED!"
"NO!"
So now, I think I have her convinced to wear a nice, soft dark blue. That's nice. And then the girls can wear light blue...
"No, wait a minute, I'm only wearing blue if the little girls wear yellow"
"YELLOW???"
*headdesk*
So back to the stuffing her in a closet thing...

Just remember to make sure there are no other way out of the closet once you throw her in there, and make sure that you have a very big heavy duty lock on it as well.
Black, red and white would be very dramatic for a fall/winter wedding, but for spring you need more uplifting colors.. :) I'm going to hide in the closet now...hehe Don't forget to register at Target.. we have awesome stuff..
